Read MoreWe got the chance of spending the holidays in Tahoe with a lot of old and new friends. It was great playing and skiing in the snow, but it was also freezing! It got as cold as 4 F. I actually got a bunch of bloody noses... I walked around a lot with tissue stuffed in my nose :'(
The first morning, Michelle, Sidian and I woke up at the crack of dawn (well 6 AM to be exact but it really did feel too early..) and drove over to Zephyr Cove to explore. What we found was amazing! The water was a deep blue and the texture was velvety. We stayed for about 30 minutes before it got too cold and we went back to eat some yummy breakfast, hehe! We eventually came back with a bigger group to explore the surrounding rocks.
Read MoreWe spent Christmas Eve driving down from San Francisco to Los Angeles along the coastal road. Overall, we drove around 9 hours and then hopped back onto the 101 around San Louis Obispo. I am always in awe of the water near Big Sur, the color is always so vibrant. We also stopped by Big Sur Bakery and got their banana danish, yum!
Test shoot with Kenta today. It was awesome getting to photograph his extremely extensive wardrobe.
I've really only photographed him once or twice before although I've been wanting to do a proper shoot for a long time. It sounds really corny but a couple of these photos show the way he appears in my mind when I see him ( sorry, does that make sense?). That's what I love about photography, a single photo can be a love letter if you want it to be. Not saying that this is one!! Hahaha.

This weekend, a group of friends and I roughed it out in the most amazing camp site in Big Sur. Please note that it has no water, no restrooms, no reservations, nothing . But if you can handle that, then you're in for a treat: Prewitt Ridge.
Read MoreI got a new set of lights and the 85mm 1.8 lens today. Shout-out to Stephen from SnappyJoe for selling me such great equipment! I tested the new Hensel lights out in my living room (I also found out my apartment is waaaaaayyy too small to be setting up massive light modifiers, haha). The Hensel lights are amazing! The lights are very even and give very nice output.
Other big news: finally got our schedules to sync up and had the great opportunity to photograph Charlie.
